FREE Outdoor Movie Night At Shelter featuring Jaime Budge’s Classic 60’s/70’s Film ” The Californians” (narrated live by Jaime), plus live DJ! On the walls of The Residence Gallery in back, they’re featuring New Works by Ryan Ward, an artist living and working in the Historic District of Orange, CA, whose work consists of chemical transfers on archival paper with subject matter ranging from photos taken on a recent trip to Nicaragua, to vintage surf and skate heroes of California. Bring Lawn Chairs, Blankets and Family (and appetites if you like insanely good hot dogs and alchoholic beverages). Event Starts at 7:30. Movie will start as soon as the sun goes down!
We Be Well [2018 East 4th]: This month, WBW is all about touch and texture! They’ll be showcasing the work of two local artists: the large layered canvases of Adrianne Read and Diana Markessinis’s beautifully mounted collages woven from found materials. PLUS: offering 10-minute bodywork sessions for relief and relaxation.
