Please join Shelter Surf Shop for their second backyard film event of the summer, as well as an art show put together by a few of the folks who make up the essence of Shelter.
“Picaresque” is the newest film from the folks at High Seas and features the likes of Harrison Roach, Christian Wach, Scotty Stopnik, Tommy Witt, Matty Chojnacki, Chris Christenson, Mikey DeTemple, Chad Doyle, Rob Kulisek, Alek Parker, Eli, and Bucky Berry.

The Art Show will consist of a humble collection assembled by some of our family members: Meredith AmbrusoErin Ashley, Jeff Beck, David Donahue, Greg Mocilnikar, RT, Skullphone & Tyler Warren.

TREBOR/NEVETS started as a “trade only” business, supplying interior designers with a variety of home decor items. Over the years they have evolved and are now designing their own collection of furnishings and lighting, providing interior design services, and offering a selection of new & vintage home furnishings, fine art, and exclusive one-of-a-kind pieces.
A year ago, they opened on 4th Street—2116 E. 4th— their first “open to the public” showroom.

• {Open} (2226 E. 4th; 52-499-6736): Art Opening: “Hand-To-Hand: The Coast-to-Coast Collage Collaboration of Rebecca Trawick and David Wallace”. During a two-year collaboration, Trawick (who lives in So-Cal) and Wallace (from Pittsburgh, PA) traded pieces back and forth via the US Post Office, adding to each work as it changed hands. On exhibit are 25 of the works, some of which document each step of the collaborative process. (Show runs May 30-July 19)
• Scuda (2001 4th; 562-439-0101): One of the newest shops on Retro Row (featuring vintage clothing and furnishings, jewelry and more), showcases local art & music.
